 Born and raised in Riverside, California, Liz Hernandez began her radio career while majoring in communications at the University of San Diego and interning for a local radio station. She did it all — answering phones, promotions, even celebrity reports — and she learned quickly. After graduating from college, Liz briefly moved to Monterey to co-host a morning show. As part of "Big Boy's Neighborhood," Liz reports on entertainment news in her "This Just Handed to Me" segment, covering everything from awards shows and red carpets to one-on-ones with Hollywood's biggest stars. Liz, was recognized by the National Hispanic Media Coalition for excellence in radio broadcasting.
